The Nuremberg health insurance corporation ( NAB or Nuremberg sick ), based in Nuremberg is a German private health insurer of Nuremberg . With approval from October 31, 1991 by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), the insurance offers the entire range of private health insurance rates.

history

In 1991 the Nürnberger Versicherungsgruppe founded the Nürnberger Krankenversicherung as its own private health insurance division in the form of a stock corporation as an alternative and supplement to statutory health care .

construction

The Nuremberg health insurance is with Nuremberg-Beteiligungs-Aktiengesellschaft Group standard according to § 18 Aktiengesetz connected.

The Beteiligungs-AG carries out work in accordance with the outsourcing of functions and service contracts, for the most part in the areas of auditing, data protection, planning, controlling, risk management, public relations, law and taxes.

The company does not employ any of its own employees, as the work for portfolio management, performance, accounting, asset management and sales is (partially) outsourced through an internally offset function outsourcing and service contract with Nürnberger Lebensversicherung.
