The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) is an association founded in 1988 and based in New Delhi .
The not-for-profit organization is funded by its member companies.
In January 2009 , more than 1200 Indian and international IT companies (both state-owned and private) were members of NASSCOM.
