NATAS
NATAS is a Detroit hardcore rap group consisting of Esham , Mastamind and TNT.
history
All three went to the same school (Osborn High School) and Esham was already close friends with TNT at the time. Both then came into contact with Mastamind, who gave Esham demo tapes and he was impressed and came up with the idea of forming a trio. Then NATAS came into being in 1992. The band name NATAS is often understood as Satan backwards, but actually this stands for Nation Ahead Time And Space .
The trio hit the headlines in 1993 when a youth in the US state of Tennessee died of suicide and the NATAS album Life After Death was found next to his body .
For some time while Esham was under contract with Psychopathic Records , NATAS ceased to exist and there were also internal disputes between Mastamind and Esham. In 2006 N Of Tha World was released , on which Mastamind could only be heard on the title track - the rest was recorded by Esham and TNT. In mid-2007, Esham and Mastamind performed together on a live show.
