NEAT supervisory delegation

The NEAT supervisory delegation of the Federal Assembly ( NAD ) was one of six members of the National Council and Council of States composite delegation of the Federal Assembly that the construction of the New Railway Link through the Alps exercised the supervision NEAT. The NAD checked compliance with the costs and deadlines , all loans and the services ordered by the federal government, as well as the legal and organizational framework.

The Federal Act of October 4, 1991 on the Construction of the Swiss Alpine Crossings (abbreviated: Alpine Transit Act, AtraG; SR 742.104) served as the legal basis . It consisted of 12 members. With the amendment to the law of March 22, 2019 (coming into force on December 1, 2019), the NAD was dissolved because the implementation of the NEAT project had largely been completed by that time.
