NEO ( katakana ネオ ) is the title of a month in the UK and in the Republic of Ireland published magazine that by Uncooked Media is distributed and to several aspects of the East Asian popular culture, including anime , manga , visual novels , Japanese, Korean, Chinese films , as well as specializing in J-Rock , J-Pop and Visual Kei . It is the first anime magazine in the UK, but it is expanding into Japanese popular culture.

The first editor in chief was Stu Taylor. Uncooked Media could be won as a publisher, whose free video game magazine has a reach of 80,000 editions.

The NEO publishes reviews of manga, anime, video games and books , among other things . People from the East Asian entertainment culture, such as illustrators and directors, are also portrayed and recipes from Japanese cuisine are presented. Together with the company Sweatdrop Studios , instructions for drawing manga are published monthly. Another section is interviews with various artists of Japanese culture. Since 2007 the magazine has presented the NEO Awards annually , in which the readers of the magazine can choose their favorite from a nominated group in each category. The award ceremony will take place at MCM London Comic Con .
