The NIO ES6 is a battery-electric powered SUV from the Chinese car manufacturer NIO .

history

The vehicle was presented in Shanghai in December 2018 ; the start of delivery is planned for June 2019. After the ES8, the ES6 is the second mass-produced vehicle from the electric car manufacturer NIO and is available in both the standard and the performance version.

Technical specifications

The ES6 is equipped with a replaceable battery package that can be booked as a 70 kWh, 84 kWh or 100 kWh package. In addition, the ES6 is the first SUV with both permanent magnet and induction motors. This enables a range of 430 km or 510 km and 610 km according to the NEDC . The vehicle has all-wheel drive and the combination of aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastic makes the body relatively light and robust. The NIO ES6 has 544 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.6 or 4.7 seconds. The manufacturer specifies the maximum speed at 200 km / h.
