Foreign trade fair program

NRW.International offers NRW companies the opportunity to jointly exhibit at around 35 trade fairs abroad each year. Company pavilions and info service centers as well as small group support are offered for this purpose.

Company pavilions and information service centers

A distinction is made between stands on which only North Rhine-Westphalian companies exhibit (NRW joint company stands) and federal stands in which NRW participates (information service center on federal joint stands). The joint stands are prepared and implemented by the exhibition organizers. The exhibiting companies receive a booth including booth technology, in some cases cross-company advertising measures are offered, a central interpreting service and a supporting program. The NRW company pavilions are funded by the Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Digitization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the federal stands are funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology .

Small group promotion

The special trade fair funding program is aimed at small and medium-sized companies from North Rhine-Westphalia. At least three companies from the federal state that want to exhibit at a foreign trade fair must join forces for this. The selected trade fair must be submitted to the Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee of Deutsche Wirtschaft e. V. (auma) or in the M + A ExpoDataBase trade fair planner and neither the state nor the federal government may be officially represented at the trade fair. If the funding requirements are met, each company in such a small group can be funded with up to 5000 EUR per year. Subsidies are made for costs that arise in the preparation or implementation of the trade fair, such as joint preparatory measures and advertising, stand rental, stand construction or interpreters.

Delegation trips and business trips

Together with partners, NRW.International organizes and coordinates delegation and business trips around the world. The trips are professionally accompanied by experts from North Rhine-Westphalia as well as by specialists on site. Depending on the development and growth potential, they are politically supported by the NRW state government. The respective specialist program is adapted to the interests of the participating companies. Around 20 trips are carried out every year.

NRW.Europe

The NRW.Europa team from NRW.International supports companies in their search for foreign business partners. This includes both the initiation of international business relationships digitally via a cooperation platform and via national and international cooperation exchanges, mostly in the context of trade fairs or business trips. NRW.Europa is part of the worldwide EU-funded Enterprise Europe Network with around 600 organizations in 60 countries.
