The Norwegian steam locomotive series NSB Type 5a was a locomotive built in 1867 by Beyer-Peacock in Manchester , England , with the serial number 813 for the Oslo – Kongsvinger – Furumoen (Kongsvingerbanen - KB) railway . The locomotive was not commissioned until 1868.

During the years of operation, modifications were made, such as the addition of the large headlight.

Locomotive 5a 21 was decommissioned on July 30, 1917 and scrapped.
