National Wrestling Alliance of Florida , or NWA Florida for short , was the name of a US wrestling promotion that existed between 2002 and 2005. The promotion was a sub-organization ( English. Affiliate ) of the NWA and was based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Promoter was Joe Price .
history
The promotion began in 1955 under the banner of Championship Wrestling From Florida / NWA Florida and was then discontinued in December 1988.
Her successor was the Promotion Professional Wrestling Federation , which existed from February 1988 to July 1991.
In 1994, NWA Major League Wrestling (MLW) was set up as part of the NWA and now succeeded Championship Wrestling From Florida. MLW itself existed until January 2002. Since the end of the 1990s, this doctorate had mostly concentrated on the extreme hardcore style and on December 2, 2002, a dispute over the style direction of the doctorate led to a large part of the former roster and to the Foundation of a new NWA association, which now took the original name of NWA Florida, NWA Championship Wrestling From Florida .
NWA Major League Wrestling has now been closed and reorganized as NWA Florida in January 2002 . The doctorate was closed in June 2005 and its official successor was the NWA Midwest / PWF doctorate in April 2009 . This has been organized since July 2010 under the banner of the NWA Florida.
