Well Valech
The street Na Valech (German on the ramparts ) is located in the cadastral Hradčany (German Hradcany) of the Czech capital Prague , to the administrative districts Prague 1 and Prague 6 belongs. Na Valech is located in the area of the old and only partially preserved city fortification Mariannenwehrmauer , which runs not far south of the road and is part of the earlier fortifications of Prague . At the end of the 19th century the complex was demolished and the road to Valech was created.
On Na Valech street you can find the building of the Ministry of Defense in Prague (with the postal address Tychonova 221/1). It is a building from the end of the 19th century. Before that, it housed educational institutions for the army, initially a cadet school; the new building for this school was built after the demolition of Bastion XV in the years 1899-1900. Today Na Valech is in a rather luxurious residential area with buildings by well-known architects and with many gardens.
