The Nachi-Katsuura Observatory ( observatory code 905) is an astronomical observatory in Nachi-Katsuura , Wakayama Prefecture , in Japan . It is within the Yoshino-Kumano National Park.

The two amateur astronomers Yoshisada Shimizu and Takeshi Urata discovered over 300 asteroids from there .
