Yoshisada Shimizu

Yoshisada Shimizu ( Japanese 清水 義 定 , Shimizu Yoshisada ; * 1943 ) is a Japanese amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer .

Together with his colleague Takeshi Urata , he discovered a total of 311 asteroids at the Nachi-Katsuura Observatory ( IAU code 905) in Nachi-Katsuura in Wakayama Prefecture between 1993 and 2000.

The asteroid (7300) Yoshisada was named after him.
