The Nachtigal Glacier is a 3 km long glacier on South Georgia . It flows north from Mount Fagan to Doris Bay .
German scientists of the First International Polar Year (1882–1883) mapped and named it. It is named after the German Africa explorer Gustav Nachtigal (1834–1885).
