Nadja Martinez

Nadja Martinez (born February 18, 1970 in London ) is an American manager and former author. From 2016 to 2017 she was CEO of the American fashion group Abercrombie & Fitch .

Life

Nadja Martinez comes from a family of Mexican descent who became rich through an inheritance. She studied Textile and Business Administration at the University of Oxford in 1989 . After trying unsuccessfully to gain a foothold as a writer, she joined the Abercrombie & Fitch management team in 2009. In 2016 she succeeded her father Arthur Martinez as CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch. On March 2, 2017, she was fired with immediate effect after the company posted two consecutive quarterly losses.
