Nagornaja
Nagornaja ( Russian: Нагорная ; ) is a subway station on the Serpukhovsko-Timirjasewskaja line (line 9) of the Moscow Metro, which runs across the city in a north-south direction . It opened on November 8, 1983.
location
The station is located in the southern administrative district of the city and connects the west of the Nagorny district to the metro network. Around 80,000 people live in the district, which is characterized by high-rise housing estates.
The station is on Elektrolitny Projesd , a 1.6-kilometer-long road that connects the center of Nagorny with Warschawskoje Schosse ( Warschauer Chaussee ), an arterial road that leads south out of Moscow and continues as M2 towards the Ukrainian border .
There is a bus stop in front of the train station at Elektrolitny Projesd .
layout
The walls of the station are covered with marble. The ceiling is supported by 26 columns in two rows that are 6.5 meters apart. The columns are clad in marble and anodized aluminum.
