The Najin-class is a class of frigates in the Navy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , better known as North Korea .
Little is known about the Najin class, and there are hardly any pictures. It is believed to be improved Soviet Kola-class ships . What is certain is that the frigates are weakly armed and suitable for defending the coastal waters and ports.
Two units were completed by the North Korean company. The first in 1973, the second in 1975. These two ships are, along with the frigate Soho , the largest ships in the North Korean People's Navy. Their exact names are not known.
