Nal culture

The Nal culture was a prehistoric culture in what is now Pakistan . It is mainly represented in Balochistan . It dates back to the second half of the fourth millennium BC. The eponymous site (see: Sohr Damb ) is in Central Balochistan .

The people of the Nal culture lived in small villages by farming and raising cattle. The Nal culture had a colored pottery . The vessels are painted with geometric patterns in an extremely rich palette of colors on a light background, there are also depictions of animals such as fish, scorpions, bulls and ibexes.

A seal was found in a grave in Sohr Damb. There are also millstones, bone tools, bull figurines and pearls.
