Namco System 12

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Namco System 12 is an arcade system board developed by Namco that came onto the market in 1996. The hardware is based - like the System 11 - on the Sony PlayStation . Compared to its predecessor, some changes have been made to improve performance. The ROMs with the game content are soldered directly to the circuit boards and therefore cannot be exchanged, as is the case with other systems ( Atomiswave , Sega NAOMI ).
