Namdalseid is a place and a former Norwegian municipality in Fylke Trøndelag with 1576 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) on an area of ​​769.54 km². The seat of the administration was in the village of the same name. As part of the municipal reform in Norway , Namdalseid and Fosnes were merged with Namsos on January 1, 2020 .
