Name prayer
The name prayer is a form of prayer or meditation in which an approach to God or a visualization of God is to be achieved through constant invocation of divine names. In Christianity , the Jesus prayer is particularly important in this context , in Amitabha Buddhism the practice of Nembutsu and in Hinduism Nama-Japa, also known as Namasmarana .
