from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Napred coalition ( Bulgarian Напред , in German Vorwärts ) is a political coalition in Bulgaria , which is represented in the Bulgarian parliament and took part in the European elections on June 7, 2009.

The Napred coalition comprises the parties IMRO - Bulgarian National Movement (WMRO-BND for short), Gergjowden , United People's Party (ENP for short) and the People's Agricultural Union (ZNS).

In the European elections, the coalition was only able to win 2.25% of the vote and thus remained far below its own expectations.

After the European elections, the coalition broke up. For the following national parliamentary elections on July 5, 2009, the People's Agricultural Union tried to form its own coalition with another party from the agricultural camp, the ENP and WMRO-BND joined the coalition led by RZS ( Order, Security and Justice ) , The Gergjowden party even stated that it does not want to run for the elections but that it supports the “ Blue Coalition ”.
