Naren Rauch is an American composer and guitarist.

Rauch began composing as a child and studied classical guitar and composition at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts . This was followed by a study of jazz guitar at the Manhattan School of Music (until 1999). He performed as a guitarist a. a. in New York's Lincoln Center , in the Deutsche Oper Berlin , at the Strawberry Music Festival , at the Monterey Jazz Festival and the WFPK Waterfront Wednesday Concert Series in Louisville and made recordings with the bands Laptop and The Navigators and their own group LILA . In addition to classical and jazz guitar, he also plays bass, mandolin and dobro. As a sound engineer he worked a. a. for Atomic Recording Studios , Cypher Sounds and The Orthodox Union and worked a. a. on the album Le Weekender by Les Sans Culottes and the recording of Christian McLeer's Requiem for large orchestra and choir.

Rauch's compositions include works for classical guitar, jazz and rock music, electroacoustic music and orchestral works. He also composed music for commercials, documentaries, and television films. In 2003 he composed the music for the production Emotion Tourist at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe , in 2010 the music for the theater production Fallings in Brooklyn.
