The Fool's Head is a museum in Bad Dürrheim that deals with the customs of the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival .

The Fool's Head was opened on May 5, 1973. It is housed in three hemispherical brine tanks from the former Rottweiler saltworks from around 1830. Above all, fools 'clothes ( jesters ) and face masks ( larvae ) of the fool's guilds , which are members of the Association of Swabian-Alemannic fools' guilds (VSAN), are exhibited. According to its own information, the Fool's Head is the largest museum of the Swabian-Alemannic Carnival in Germany. 400 life-size carnival figures from the eight landscapes of the Association of Swabian-Alemannic Fools' Guilds are shown. The operators of the Narrenschopf are the association Narrenschopf Bad Dürrheim eV and the association of Swabian-Alemannic fools' guilds. Daniel Rollko, a business economist who grew up in Crailsheim, has been the museum director since January 1, 2009.
