Nosebleed was an Australian techno group from Newcastle .

history

The group was founded in 1992 by DJs Aaron Lubinski, David Melo and Mark Newlands in Newcastle, New South Wales . At the beginning the music was produced on Amiga computers , with the songs stylistically settled in hardcore and gabber . Also were breakbeats and various samples involved. Nosebleeds have been seen as having a major impact on the local techno scene in New South Wales. After some demo recordings followed in 1993 the debut LP Transient Ischemic Attack and the live album Live at Wobble , which were released on Lubinski's own record label Dead Girl Records. Industrial Strength Records took over distribution in the USA .

In 1996, the group provoked with the single show Us Yor Tits , which alluded to the death of the girl Anna Woods, who died in 1995 of an ecstasy overdose . The song was only released in limited editions and was sold at concerts of the group. At the end of 1996 Nosebleed went on a tour through Europe, in Germany the EP Cheapcore was made . After their last appearance in September 2001, their last album, Dog Control, was released before the nosebleeds resolved.
