Nostrils is the name of a mountain ridge on the northern edge of the Alpstein massif in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden .

It rises to 2133  m above sea level. M. up. At its base there are two cave entrances at approx. 1899  m , which are reminiscent of nostrils and which inspired the naming of this mountain. To the east of this is the 2193 m high Öhrli .
