Nassypnoi ( Russian Остров Насыпной , German Pillauer Island ) is an artificial island in the Fresh Lagoon and administratively belongs to the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast .
The island is 3.5 km east of the Fresh Spit and has an area of 1.4 ha . In 2012 the island had a length from north to south of 180 m and a width from east to west of 160 m. The shore length is 550 m.
The island is inhabited by officers of the Russian army who rented apartments there.
