Nat Holt Productions

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Nat Holt Productions was an American film production company .

When the ownership of the RKO changed in 1948 , the previous producer Nat Holt set up his own production company. Since he had already worked with Randolph Scott three times and who had already been contractually connected with 20th Century-Fox , the three contractual partners soon came to an agreement. Canadian Pacific (1949), The City of Rough Men (1949) and The Death Gorge of Arizona (1950) were created in two-tone cinecolor, all of which were staged by Edwin L. Marin . Only after another job as a producer at Paramount did Nat Holt return with his company one last time independently for a film production. The lead role in The City of Dead Souls (1955) was again played by Randolph Scott. The RKO issued the three-colored Technicolor stripe.

Between 1955 and 1956, all four western films came to the German cinemas.
