The company was founded in September 1997 by Abdirizak Ido. It provides mobile and landline telephony, Internet and satellite telephony services throughout Somalia, and has also been active in the Middle East and, since 2004, in the Central African Republic .
NationLink Telecom sees its overarching goal as “providing telecommunications services to all Somalis, thereby making a positive difference in their lives”.
