National Association of School Psychologists

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) is the largest national professional organization of school psychologists in the United States , based in Bethesda, Maryland . One of NASP's goals is to support the work of school psychologists in the United States. NASP develops standards for ethics and practice for school psychologists.

The NASP issues two publications:

  • School Psychology Review (the second largest academic psychological magazine in the United States)
  • Communiqué , NASP's official newspaper

NASP is a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

The NASP complements the American Psychological Association (APA).
