National Computing Center

The National Computing Center (NCC) is a non-profit organization that promotes the use of information technology in business . Its seat is in Manchester .

The NCC was founded on June 10, 1966 at the initiative of the British government with the aim of promoting the use of computers in the United Kingdom and ensuring good education and effective training in the IT field.

In the beginning, NCC was mainly funded by UK government subsidies . The member organization has financed itself independently since 1988 .

In 1999, NCC founded the NCC Group.
