Søren Kjeldsen (born May 17, 1975 in Aalborg ) is a Danish professional golfer on the PGA European Tour .

Career

Kjeldsen became a professional golfer in 1995 and qualified via the Challenge Tour for the European Tour from the 1998 season. There he won his first major tournament in 2003 and placed 27th in the final European Tour Order of Merit .

Kjeldsen represented his country several times at the World Cup and was in the continental European selection at the Vivendi Trophy in 2009 . In November 2016 he and his compatriot Thorbjørn Olesen won the World Cup for Denmark.

He has been married to his wife Charlotte since 2000. The two have a son (Emil, * 2003) and live in Ascot, England .
