National Convention Party (Ghana)

The National Convention Party ( NCP ) is a political party in Ghana . By its fourth and current Constitution of Ghana were in 1992 after the military junta of Jerry Rawlings political parties in Ghana again admitted. Among them was the NCP.

Together with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Every Ghanaian Living Everywhere (EGLE) party, the NCP formed the Progressive Alliance in the parliamentary elections in 1992. In these parliamentary elections, this Alliance clearly won and won 198 of the 200-seat Ghanaian parliament at the time. Of these 200 parliamentary seats, eight belonged to the NCP, the strongest party in the Progressive Alliance and Parliament was the NDC.
