The National Liberation Front of Kurdistan (Kurdish: Eniya Rizgariya Neteweyî ya Kurdistanê, ERNK) was a subsidiary organization of the Kurdish underground movement PKK .

history

The ERNK was founded on March 21, 1985. It should only be politically active with the membership of social associations, youth and women's groups, artists and journalists and lawyers' associations. Since 1993, the ERNK was banned from operating in Germany. In the course of an organizational and substantive realignment of the PKK it was dissolved in January 2000 and replaced by the "Kurdish Democratic People's Union" (YDK), which was also dissolved in June 2004 and replaced by the "Civata Demokratie Kurdistan" (CDK).
