National Reich Party
The National Reich Party (NRP) was a short-lived, right-wing extremist party in Germany . It was founded in 1952 by members of the Bundestag Günter Goetzendorff and Wolfgang Hedler . Goetzendorff was elected through an electoral alliance between his new citizens' association and the economic development association . Hedler was elected for the German party , but was expelled from the parliamentary group and party because of pro-Nazi and anti-Semitic statements.
In the 1953 Bundestag elections, the NRP participated in the collection movement, umbrella organization for the National Collection , which, however, was unable to move into the Bundestag.
As early as 1950, a National Democratic Party existed in Hesse for a short time - the National Reich Party , but it had no connections to the NRP.
