National Science Museum

The National Museum of Science ( Thai พิพิธภัณฑ์ วิทยาศาสตร์ แห่ง ชาต , English National Science Museum ) is a the natural sciences museum dedicated in Amphoe Khlong Luang , province of Pathum Thani , Thailand .

The museum opened in 2000 to celebrate Queen Sirikit's 60th birthday . It is therefore also called the “Queen Sirikit the Great Museum of Science”. The museum is under the administration of the Ministry of Science and Technology .

In addition to the usual scientifically oriented objects, traditional techniques such as pottery , carving , basket weaving and metallurgy are shown on the 6th floor . On the 4th floor there are depictions of how geography shaped the Thai people .
