Bucharest National Opera

The Opera Națională Bucureşti is an opera house in Bucharest . It is the largest of the four Romanian state operas . It was founded in 1919 and has been housed in a new building since 1953. Today it is a repertoire company for opera and ballet, whose current repertoire consists of over 150 opera and ballet performances.
