Husum National Park House

The National Park House Husum is a center for environmental education, nature conservation coordination and administration of the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park in Husum . The house is operated by the National Park Service gGmbH , WWF Germany , the Wadden Sea Protection Station and the Husum world shop .

The House

The house is right on the quay of the Husum inland port and has storage rooms in the rear building. A number of larger (Land Schleswig-Holstein ) and smaller sponsors helped set up the house .

exhibition

The National Park Administration's exhibition for visitor information is housed in the basement of the house. There you will also find information about offers in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park, such as mudflat tours .

World shop

The Husum world shop is located in the house and is financed by the Evangelical Church District of North Friesland. In addition to fair trade products, national park souvenirs are also sold there. The shop is a member of the Weltladen umbrella organization .

Wadden Sea Protection Station and WWF Wadden Sea

The nature conservation organization Schutzstation Wattenmeer has had its office in the Husum National Park House since 2011. From here the work in the centers throughout the national park is coordinated.

The WWF Wadden Sea Office is also located in the National Park House .
