The Lovćen National Park is a Montenegrin national park that includes the mountains of the same name in the Dinaric Alps .
The Dinaric Alps rise directly on the Adriatic and then rise steeply. The park was established in 1952. It includes the most central and highest point of the Lovćen mountain range and extends over 62.20 km². The highest point of the national park is the summit of the mountain Štirovnik (1,749 m). At the summit there are transmission systems of the Montenegrin radio and it is the most important transmission location in Montenegro. In addition to the mountain vegetation, the area's rich historical, cultural and architectural heritage is also preserved.
