The Udegeiskaya Legenda National Park ( Russian Удэгейская легенда ) is a national park in the Far East of Russia. It was designated in 2007 and covers 103,744 hectares.

Emergence

The Udegeiskaya Legenda National Park is the second national park in the Far East of Russia. It was erected in the south immediately after the National Park Call of the Tiger . The main reason for choosing the sanctuary was that it is the habitat of the Siberian tiger . The mixed pine forests of the national parks have been threatened by the timber industry for years. The designation of the national park was preceded by 20 years of planning with the support of WWF . The Save the Tiger Fund (STF) also supported the national parks.
