history

The first edition of the race was held on September 25, 1982 as Autumn 150 . The race distance was 150 laps or 78.8  miles . The first winner was Sam Ard , who was able to repeat his success in the following 1983 season. After the first two editions, it did not take place in 1984 and 1985. In the 1986 season, it returned to the Busch Series racing calendar as the Nationwise 150 . The distance was not changed and Tommy Houston was the winner of the race. In the following season, Rick Mast was able to enter the list of winners before the race was renamed Advance Auto 150 in 1988 . The winner of this race was Harry Gant , who a month later also won the Winston Classic on this track. After only one season there was another name change, this time to Zerex 150 . Tommy Houston was the first winner of the race under this name. The second and last winner of this race was Jeff Burton on September 22, 1990 . From the following season, the race was no longer held.
