Soda paper

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Soda paper is a ribbed packaging paper that is mainly smooth on one side and is produced using sulphate cellulose .

A distinction is made between soda kraft paper , which is made from 100% sulphate cellulose, and soda mixed paper, in the manufacture of which certain proportions of waste paper are used.

Soda paper is used primarily in the packaging sector and, thanks to its high tear resistance, in applications with high mechanical loads.

Some variants of the oil paper are based on soda paper.
