The nature. Illustrated bi-monthly publication for all nature lovers was a magazine published by the German Natural Science Society from 1909 to 1927 . The sheet, which was published fortnightly in Leipzig by Verlag Thomas and provided with illustrations , was, according to its temporary subtitle, also an organ of the German and German-Austrian Natural Science Society .

The sheet often contained supplements and was the successor to the magazine for the expansion of developmental theory, Archive for Psychobiology . It was later published in the specialist magazine Die Umschau. Research, Development, Technology , the official organ of the AFI ( Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fachinformation eV).
