The natural monument row of trees, 7 lime trees and 3 maples is a natural monument (ND) in Thülen in the urban area of Brilon . The ND was designated by ordinance in 2006 by the Hochsauerlandkreis . Administratively it bears the name Naturdenkmal 082 - row of trees, 7 linden trees and 3 maples . The seven linden trees and three maples stand in a semicircle to the west of the cemetery and church in the village.

Prohibitions and Commandments

As with other natural tree monuments, it was prohibited to destroy, damage or otherwise impair its natural vitality. There is also a ban on building, constructing, attaching or expanding structures of all kinds, including paved paths, open-air, pipe or telecommunication lines, fences or other enclosures, advertising systems, sales stands, vending machines and parking spaces for vehicles. It is also forbidden to carry out embankments, excavations or soil compaction or to change the shape of the soil through other interventions.

Road safety obligation and care

For the safety obligation is District of Hochsauerlandkreises or the lower landscape authority responsible. The Lower Landscape Authority ensures that the trees are preserved through suitable care measures. The authority bears the costs.
