Natural monument rock band

The natural monument rock band is an approx. 100 m long rock band west of Olsberg - Wulmeringhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The unnamed rock band was the 2004 landscape plan Olsberg than 2.53  ha large natural monument designated (ND). The ND is also a legally protected biotope according to Section 62 of the Landscape Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is surrounded by the Olsberg nature reserve .

The ledge reaches a rock height of ten meters. The ledge is planted with mainly red beeches . Red spruce trees grow on the top rock area.

The landscape plan specifies that the spruce trees are to be removed and converted into deciduous forest as a requirement for the natural monument rock band .
