Norway maple (Brilon) natural monument

The Norway maple is a natural monument east of Brilon and west of federal highway 251 in the Bieketal. The Norway maple was designated as a natural monument (ND) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2008 with the landscape plan of the Brilon plateau . It stands in a Christmas tree culture. The natural monument is surrounded by the Offenland nature reserve southeast of Brilon . The Norway maple stands on an old mining site with a heap and pingen .
