Nature Sustainability is a monthly, peer-reviewed scientific journal that has been published by the Nature Publishing Group since January 2018 . It only publishes online, there is no printed edition.

The journal is transdisciplinary and publishes scientific papers on the main topic of sustainability . In addition to research in the natural sciences, social sciences and engineering, the magazine's spectrum also includes publications on the political effects of sustainability problems and approaches to solving them. The journal sees the overarching goal of sustainability sciences as understanding how “the well-being of present and future generations within the boundaries of nature” can be ensured. In addition to traditional, original research work and reviews , perspectives and comments are also published.

An impact factor has not yet been determined because the magazine has not been published long enough for it (as of August 2018).
