The Montemarcello-Magra Natural Park ( Italian Parco naturale regional di Montemarcello-Magra ) is a nature reserve in the Italian region of Liguria . Politically it belongs to the province of La Spezia . Its territory includes the foothills of the Montemarcello , the lower course of the Magra and the lower as well as the middle course of the Vara river .
The nature park was established in 1995 with an area of 4320.8 hectares and includes 22 communities.
