Naujasodis is a place in the administrative district Žeimiai of the Rajongemeinde Jonava in Kaunas District ( Lithuania ). The village is on the highway to Vandžiogala , eight kilometers west of the town of Žeimiai . 106 inhabitants live in the village (2011). There is a village community with the traditional festival "Naujasodžio sukūryje".
Naujasodis sub-district
The sub-district of Naujasodis was established in 2009. With 176 inhabitants (2001) it is one of the five sub-districts of the Žeimiai district . These villages belong to the sub-district: Naujasodis, Barsukinė (28), Skrynės (16 E.), Milašiškiai (3 E.) and Terespolis (9 E.). The center of the sub-district is the village of Naujasodis.
