Naurrakar is a Czech black metal - band from Prague , which was founded of 2007.
history
The band was founded by Ego BMKrieger in 2007 and has since released two studio albums, a live album, two EPs and a demo and concerts / tours with bands such as the Israeli extreme metal band Arallu or the Russian / Czech symphonic black metal band Welicoruss completed. There have also been performances outside the Czech Republic, including in Germany and France. The lineup of the band changed several times, from the line-up of the demos Imperium Satana only the two guitarists Ego BMKrieger and Revan remained.
Both of the band's studio albums and the EPs were released on the Ústí nad Labem- based label Werewolf Productions.
As a not purely commercially oriented scene band, the band also operates an official YouTube channel on which (with the exception of the live album) the complete discography is available free of charge.
style
Both the first album Epilog lidstva and the follow-up album Apogeum received positive feedback, for example on the "Metal Viewer" blog or the Czech online music magazine "Echoes". In the review of Epilog lidstva on "Metal Viewer", the band was certified to play "snotty, straight Black Metal with a touch of punk", in the review of the same blog on Apogeum there was talk of Eastern European "Black Metal at its best ".
The band itself describes their music as "post-apocalyptic black metal". Lyrical themes are mostly apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic scenarios and misanthropy , there are also texts of satanic content. Most of the band's lyrics are written in Czech.
