Nauruan Center Party

The Nauru Center Party ( CP ) is an informal political party in Nauru . It was formed by the former President Kinza Clodumar and supported René Harris , an ally of Clodumar, in parliament , especially in votes of no confidence for or against him.

Since its inception, the CP has played only a minor role in parliament and in other political life in Nauru. The party was able to hold at least one seat in parliament with Clodumar between 1997 and 2003 , but finally lost it after the early elections on October 23, 2004 .
